The team considers some of the things that might lead to a midlife crisis.

Kinkaid:
We had extrarordinarily high expectations of success and riches.
The pressure to the succeed young and fast was complicated by the instability careers in the digital age.
In the end, many hard workers were disillusioned like, is this all there is to life. Where do we go from here? Nowhere or down the chute?

Tyson:
Well, as you reach your 40s and 50s,
most people are finally convinced that they've got life figured out.
You're in fact facing middle age and beginning to see your mortal days are numbered.
You begin to question what you've done with your life thus far and what you lies ahead.

Cortez:
I guess you can't change the fact that you are aging and will eventually have to confront your own mortality.
But you can choose how to cope with this truth and how you want to live out the remainder of your life.

Tyson:
That's right.
You start feeling the aches and pains that come with aging.
You wonder if what you've sweated to achieve personallly and professionally was readlly worth the effort.
Retrospection sets in. You mull over your job, yout spouse, and some even wish to chuck it all and start all over again.

Cortez:
Instead, why not take on new challenges to keep a supply of freshness and excitement in your life?
What about going back to school, learning a new hobby or taking up an old one?

Kinkaid:
It's like turning back the clock.
I understand many people want to do that as they approach middle age.
